After five sell out UK tours,
Hot Flush! returns...
Share in the friendships, the secrets, the laughs, the tears and the ups and downs of four ordinary women – and one man (Matt Slack) – living extraordinary lives.
Meet Myra (Lesley Joseph), a successful divorce barrister whose rat of a husband has left her for a blonde bimbo. Jessica (Ruth Keeling) is struggling to understand life in the midst of a mid-life crisis, while Sylvia (Lori Haley Fox) has been married to Joe since she was 20… and bored since she was 21! Helen (Anne Smith), a widow, is trying to take one day at a time; it’s just that sometimes several days attack her at once.
More fun than joining a gym and cheaper than botox, Hot Flush! might even leave you feeling 34 ½ again! So wipe away the credit crunch blues and grab your girlfriends together for an unmissable night at the theatre and bring your man along as well, you’ll all love it.
Lesley is best known for playing Dorien Green, the neighbour from hell, in the sitcom Birds of a Feather, alongside Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson.
They recorded over one hundred episodes over a period of nine years, and Dorien Green became a national intuition, watched at its height by 23 million people. In 2013 Lesley began filming for a brand new series of Birds of a Feather. Along with her original co-stars, Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson, the ‘Birds’ hit the screens again in 2014.
Lesley has a wealth of theatrical experience to her credit, in virtually all aspects of the business, having trained at LAMDA before carving out a career for herself on stage. Her acting roles have covered a wide range from serious drama, to musicals and revue, in both the West End and major theatres all over Britain. Her film and television credits include performances for all the major television channels in the UK and film work with major directors including Franco Zeffirelli.
